Dr. Niv Marom is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic sports surgeon at Meir Medical Center, the official medical care provider to the Israeli olympic teams. He serves as the the deputy director of the department of Orthopaedic Surgery. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries. He is a senior lecturer at Tel-Aviv University, medical consultant to the Israeli Olympic Committee, and president of the Israeli Society of Knee surgery, Sports traumatology, and Arthroscopy.
Dr. Niv Marom has completed his subspecialty training in orthopaedic sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery at the world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York City, and additional centers of excellence in orthopeadic sports surgery and soccer medicine in Europe. An extensive part of his training was dedicated to joint preservation treatments, including biologic and surgical therapies for bone, cartilage, tendon, and ligament injuries.
